About Patricia Kearns

Patricia Kearns, PT

Patricia Kearns, a native of western Nebraska, completed her undergraduate education at Doane College and received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  After practicing in both Nebraska and Arizona, Ms. Kearns joined QLI in 2001 as a physical therapist.  Patricia’s natural leadership style, and relentless drive for clinical success quickly lead her to several promotions including Coordinator of Therapy Services, Director of Clinical Services, and Vice President of Clinical Services.  In January of 2011, Patricia was named President & CEO of QLI.

Patricia oversees a continuum of QLI services that includes 211 private rooms across five levels of care, over 400 employees, and $75 million of facilities on a 65-acre campus in Omaha, NE.  QLI has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Omaha seven times, and the Best Place to Work for the Advancement of Women.

Thirty years ago, QLI’s vision of re-creating the way rehabilitation was delivered to individuals who have suffered brain injuries or spinal cord injuries was an idealistic concept.  Over the next several years, QLI brought Tri-Dimensional Rehab® to life, but when Patricia joined QLI’s team, she brought it to entirely new heights.  Patricia had the drive, expertise, and insight to grasp the concept that was created by QLI’s founding leaders and brought it to fruition.  Patricia developed the strongest and most driven clinical team in the nation.  Patricia and her team serve individuals from across the nation, and are proud to serve some of our most severely injured servicemen.

Patricia and her husband, Jeremy, their daughter, Carsyn, and their dog, Roxy, live in Omaha.
